Michael Harold
Bass Guitar & Backing Vocals
Mike has been playing bass guitar for many years in both the Rock and Jazz scenes.
He spent his early years playing fretless bass in contemporary jazz / jazz fusion bands. After a stint overseas he came back to Melbourne and joined a rock band playing popular covers. The band was called Jump the Q and gained regular work around inner city Melbourne.
Armed with a 5 string Ibanez bass Mike teamed up with 17 Year old Woody on Electric Guitar in the 70's/80's Rock and Roll cover band "Wheels of Fire"
Mike continued to pursue his roots by playing occasional Jazz or Blues gig's.
Then when working on some original songs with the old members of Wheels of Fire, the idea of forming a Kylie Tribute Show came about and Danni's Sister was born and played regular gigs around Melbourne & Victoria in the late 90's. Venues included the Palace, chasers & the Midsumma Festival.
Mike has stayed in touch with woody and welcomed the idea of joining the Drink project on Bass. What started out with just helping out recording bass parts on some of Daniel and Woody's compositions has now grown into a live original band. I even get to do a few Backing Vocals. Look out for me on lead vocals real soon!
